Description
centralized control for specifying a nodes environment would be a nice feature. This may require some changes in puppet.
Or.. maybe we could use the dashboard to control puppet.conf settings for nodes.

This would be done though external_nodes the dashboard provides but the support in puppet appears to currently be broken in 0.25.x in Issue #2834
